Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent Reveal Fall Fashions in Paris

Louis Vuitton

Top models flaunted the newest innovations of designer Marc Jacobs of Louis Vuitton in Paris last Thursday. Retro-fashions of Christian LaCroix, 1980's designer, dominated Jacobs' new line. With unmistakable 80's influence, fashion models sashayed down the runway wearing corsets and crinoline fabric.

With hints of Playboy origins, designs boasted brocade and tulle combinations, tiers of lace, lots of pouf, and an adapted version of ebony Bunny ears. Accessories polished off Jacobs' vision with over-the-knee laceup boots, monogrammed handbags embellished with gold and crystals, and an array of leather chainlink necklaces, in keeping with Vuitton's legacy of leather lines.

Not surprisingly, in keeping with 1980's fashion savvy, Vuitton's premier also included a fuchsia sequined version of Michael Jackson's signature glove sans fingertips and Thriller choreography.
