The-Dream’s Love vs Money

The 2nd album Def Jam released on 10th March 2009 for the producer/singer has been produced with Chrstopher "Tricky" Stewart featuring guest appearances by Kanye West, Lil Jon and Mariah Carey.

In recent years The–Dream has become, as he frequently brags on Love vs. Money, a "radio killa . . . R&B gorilla." With his 2nd CD The Dream, originally Terius Nash is altogether in a different league. The 14 songs based on R&B subject matter: sex - makeup sex, break-up sex, sex in VIP rooms, combines classicist songcraft, wild sound collage and a thought that is equally sensual and silly making Love vs. Money much more than just a talented genre piece. Tricky's beats reminds one of Timbaland and Trent Reznor, full of dissonance blasts, jazz like chord shifts, and shouts and hisses in the background that rebound across the stereo spectrum. The 6½ minute mini–epic "Fancy" has symphonic multi-tracked choir. The resultant is genuinely odd: at once avant-garde dance music and radio-friendly pop, sex farce that is truly sexy. Most of the songs are memorable. "Cupid ain't got shit on me," croons Dream
