“America’s Next Top Model” plans to hold an open casting call Saturday, March 14, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Gingerwood’s, 7611 Rose Island Road, Prospect.

The CW Louisville, WBKI-TV, is hosting the event, and complete information, registration forms and directions to Gingerwood’s may be found on the station’s Web site, www.cwlouisville.com .

Potential models must be women ages 18 to 27, who are 5 feet 7 inches tall or shorter.

“There have been top supermodels in the past that weren’t as tall as the industry demands, like fashion icon Kate Moss,” Tyra Banks, the host of the show, said in a news release. “So we are changing up ‘Top Model’ ... and making it a year for the shorter model.”
